£15.5m Boost for World-Class Mountain Bike Innovation Centre in the Scottish Borders
The Borderlands Partnership Board has approved £15.5 million of UK Government investment through the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal for the development of a Mountain Bike Innovation Centre and Trail Lab in the Scottish Borders.

Progress continues with Mountain Bike Innovation Centre project
News release from South of Scotland Enterprise The next step for the Mountain Bike Innovation Centre will be made next week, when the full business case for the project is formally presented to Scottish Borders Council. The project – which received outline business case approval in 2022 – is due to be discussed by Councillors on Thursday 29 January. This is part of the full business case approval process, with the full business case also being reviewed by the UK and Scottis

Borderlands 5GIR programme: 5G in action at Windermere
In October, the Borderlands 5G Innovation Region team welcomed colleagues, partners and the public to Windermere Ferry Nab to see in action the connectivity and technological innovation delivered so far at this major rural tourism venue.
